Yes, I'll be the first to say that it's a great essay (in fact, according to the thread, I am) but there are some things that I've never been clear about. Not things concerning meaning, but the little confusing things about the plot, especially about the terminal core. I must have seen it about 12 times, and I still don't understand everything. But I guess that's what so good about it? |

Too bad Gainax hasn't been able to keep up the momentum since FLCL came out. the only decent anime (this is up to debate) that they've made since then would have to be gunbuster 2 (aka diebuster). I think Production IG stole their mojo. =D |
